Sorry to interrupt the otherwise scintillating technical discussion...

I'm starting to wonder if we should start a separate list called
"NTTALK -- Semi-technical topics only tangentially related to Windows
software development"

Maybe on that list we could have sticky threads to discuss C vs C++,
IDE versus command line, how many priv levels a good O/S can use,
whether Windows should be re-written from the ground up by training
orangutans, and whether we educate today's college students (or
orangutans) correctly.

Heck, maybe we could even add other critically valuable questions to
ponder such as thread scheduling versus process scheduling, open source
versus proprietary software development, and whether Microsoft has a
nefarious plan for world domination.

Perhaps we could make it a fully-moderated list, with Hector as
moderator?

I now return you to our usual NTDEV. BTW, while I'm here: My system
crashed, can you tell me why?
