Re[2]: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE and Non-Pnp Disk Driver

Per Max’s comment, use a bus driver. It appears that the file system is
attempting to flush data to your disk, or at least CM is attempting to
flush dirty content to your disk. But it appears that the disk is gone,
causing the bug check.

Look at the toaster example in the WDK. It provides a good starting
point for a KMDF bus driver.
