Question about WHQL sign for Toaster like software vitual bus driver.

Hi ,I have a question about WHQL test for no hw driver.

My driver doesn’t have real HW, based on Toaster sample. It has bus driver ,and the bus driver report a funcion devcie .Of couse the funcion devcie is software virtual device(not real hw).And the virtual device has a funcion driver.

Does microsoft permit to submit my bus driver and function driver to get signed?

thanks very much.

Yes they do.

You will almost certainly want to start with the Unclassified program which will test the basics of your driver like IOCTLs and system power states.

Good luck,

Assuming you have already setup your appropriate code signing
certificates and WHQL account, a driver signing usually costs $250 per
driver per OS, with discounts available depending on LogoFest
attendance, submitting 32bit and 64bit drivers at the same time, etc.
