Question about a sample from Rajeev Nagar's book. (sfsd.sys)

Hello.

I took a compiled sample from Rajeev Nagar’s book :
( Sample File System Driver - sfsd.sys , sfsrec.sys )

I think that is complete sample.

but when I install(copy .sys file / registry write) and reboot,
error occured.

my platform is Windows2000 server.

how can I install sfsd.sys ?

anyone who knows this problem, help me please.

The examples are compiled for NT4 (or maybe even 3.51?). You will need
to re-compile with the Windows 2000 DDK and Windows 2000 IFS kit.

Well yes, they don’t really *do* anything and the book warns
that they aren’t in anyway finished. There are much better examples
in the IFS kit.
