Hi
Anybody knows if the function IoCreateFileSpecifyDeviceObjectHint() in W2K
Hotfix works for network drive.
Just got this W2K hot fix and it works fine on local drive. But when I tried
to access a mapped drive, I got STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER error. Searched
MSDN and OSR, found out this bug(Q322726) was fixed for XP SP1 and Win 2003.
Thanks in advance
Gan Ping,
The Win2K hotfix which you received should work on network drives as
well. This includes the fix which went into XP SP1. If it does not work
as intended you can contact us.
