Do I need to use AdjustTokenPrivileges within this process in order to
access the network share when the program is spawned by a service.

Subject: Process can’t access a UNC path
Hello,
In my backup application a service running under domain user account
spawns a process.
When this process tries to access a UNC path (file over network share)
it fails.
Ie. When the program is run as a standalone program on the command line
it is able to access the file in the network share. (This is a UNC path)
The same program when spawned by a service running under the same domain
account, the file cannot be opened.
The network share and the file being accessed has all the necessary
permissions.
Please let me know if any privilege is missing here and how to resolve
this issue.
Thanks,
Regards,
mandar
