Problem with start order.

OS : NT 4.0

Hi,
What could be the problem if a driver when given Start order = 0 (boot
start) is not started. The driver entry is never called. However if the
start order = 2(automatic start) it works fine.

My driver is a SCSI miniport written for a device on PCI bus. The start
order for the ATAPI miniport is seen 0. And it is documented that SCSI
miniports should be so. Since at the boot time the driver is not started,
the disk class driver is not able to claim the device, and it is not seen in
explorer also.

Any hints regarding this??

Thanks in advace
