Hi,
I need to have a document name with full path inside the
printer driver.
DOCINFO provides the document name, but I see the document name
with full path only from the latest Visual studio 7.0
appliactions. Other applications sends wothout path but that
too not in a same format in all applications. Visual studio 6.0
doesn’t send the document name at all it sends only the
application name(Microsoft Visual C++).
Is there any other way to get the document name with full path?
Thanks,
Sridhar

The print test page is hardcoded in the spooler. So you
cannot modify
it. That is also the reason for it getting truncated when the
number of
dependent files is more than the number that can fit on a
single page.

Subject: [ntdev] Print Test Page - UniDriver Limitation ?.Hi,
I am developing a PCL driver, I am using the Unidriver
architecture .The
number of files used by our driver is 45 files. The driver
works fine,
all the features are working properly.
From the Printer folder, I right click on the printer
properties and
click on “Print Test Page” , I get the Test Page printed, but
since the
number of driver files is 45, some of the files at the end
don’t get
printed i.e. the print out gets truncated, the remaining
files would get
printed if the test page was printed as two pages instead of
one, my
question is,
1.Can I get modify the “Print Test Page” ?,
2.Who handles the “Print Test Page”?,
3.Can the “Print Test Page” be made to print two or more
pages when the
number of driver files cannot be fit into one page ?.
2.Can I change the font used in the “Print test page” ?.
