We have a WFP callout ( ALE connect and ALE Recieve and TCP inbound and outbound ).
Based on WFP inspect sample.
Few symptoms on customer machine:
–> During network file copy on machine where WFP callout ( based on WDK inspect ) is installed,ping latency is observed.
–> Also ping latency is observed intermittently.
–> If WFP callout is removed then ping latency is not observed.
Questions:
–> ping sends ICMP.How then WFP inspect effects ping latency.I could easily verify that during ping no traffic hits callout functions.
–> How to troubleshoot ping latency issues.How can I debug machine sending ping response.What kind of trace I can enable.
