OT: WinHEC/DDC Get Together for NTFSD/NTDEV members -- Monday PM, OSR Booth

If you are not planning to attend WinHEC or the Driver Development
Conference in Seattle next week (starting 25 April), you can hit
“delete” now.

If you’re going to either of these conferences, we thought it would be
fun for the members of NTDEV and NTFSD to get together. Heck, it might
be interesting to be able to put faces to some of the names that we’ve
been seeing.

NTDEV/NTFSD Get Together
WHEN: 6PM, Monday Evening, at the WinHEC/DDC Welcome Reception
WHERE: The OSR BOOTH on the WinHEC tradeshow floor

The Welcome Reception is open to both WinHEC and DDC attendees, and is
typically fueled by free beer/wine and munchies of every description.

Come to the OSR booth, pick up this year’s t-shirt, hang out, sit on the
couches, share away the “tourists”, and meet your fellow NTDEV/NTFSD
members. To encourage you to come, we’ll hold a special drawing that
evening for NTDEV/NTFSD members, for a combination package of the two
new OSR hardware devices (the USB FX2 board and the Sealevel DIO-24
board), worth about US$200 total. File systems people: We figure you’ll
find SOMEthing fun to do with these devices, even if you can’t write a
file system for either fo them. We’ll hold the drawing sometime around
8:30PM, assuming Dan and Amanda haven’t passed out or quit by that time.

So, come join us and say HI to the folks that make NTDEV/NTFSD great –
Your fellow members!

Peter,

" … even if you can’t write a
file system for either of them"

I would almost take that as a challenge!

Pete

You know what’s really, really, twisted??? I FIGURED that somebody
would say that!

Of course, I kinda guessed it would be Tony (who has sworn that he’ll
figure out how to write a file system using WDF one of these days, just
to demonstrate that it can be done).

And I’ll stay tuned just because I want to use that ‘WDFFSD’ too.
