Warning off topic
Hi all,
Can any one suggest why my 4 year old monitor has started exhibiting the
following symptom.
1: PC powered up.
2: monitor turned on. no display. monitor appears to think there is a signal
from PC green LCD light showing.
switch box used to select other PC display output.
Some times starting this PC will kick the monitor back into life.
If not disconnecting the monitor from the switch box no signal being input
and powering down back and rebooting the second PC with monitor connected up
will usually fix the problem.
Other symptoms notice, the monitor loses it horizontal hold.
Could this problem be solved relatively cheaply <£20 /$30 or is time for a
new monitor.
If so what do people recommend for an LCD screen < £200 / $300
