Open my filter's object remotely?

Have my filter running on a network host and would
like to open it’s object from another computer on the
network. I would think it would be possible but I’m
not having much luck coming up with a UNC name that
CreateFile likes. Have tried many variations
including

\HostName\SharedDriveName\SFilter
\HostName\SFilter
\HostName.\SFilter
\HostName\DosDevices\SFilter

Any ideas? Thx.

Scott

Try “??\UNC\HostName\SharedDriveName\SFilter” or
“\Device\Mup\HostName\SharedDriveName\SFilter” or
“\Device\LanmanagerRedirector\HostName\SharedDriveName\SFilter” (assuming it
is on CIFS/SMB/LanManager.)
