Offline Synchronize causes filter driver busy...

My filter driver only monitors a Window 2003 server’s share directory
which is created by me. But if I have offline synchronization setup
through explorer in my Windows XP client machine. Each time I boot up
or shut down my machine. My driver always start scanning the
synchronizing files between the server and the client. But I do not
want my driver to scan the files when the syncronization takes place.
What can I do?

If I understand it well, your filter runs on the server
and your XP client synchronizes offline folders.
I’m afraid that you cannot exclude your filter from
watching this, because you cannot know that the files
are open by the client for the purpose of synchronization.

Why exactly you don’t want to filter those files ?
The server hangs ?
