Absolutely. I have already downloaded the documents and have started going through them. The problem is that there is a lot of information there which I “might” not need for my application. So my idea of posting here was that someone could point me to only the “required info”. But I guess that I will have to figure out myself :).
– Thanks anyway.

Ajitabh ,
Frankly I’m lost about what you actually looking for?
You know better than anyone else where to start!!. It’s based on what you
know, how you can align with your other expertize and knowledge etc., etc.
If you are new to linux, then you sure know what to do !
If you are new to Media server, again you sure know … !
Just for the heck of it, I searched your ‘DLNA’ and found a heck of a lot
of informations on the net…
Download them, and starting playing with it. Also lot of documents there.

I don’t think that this is that uncommon (assigning someone new). A
company
that has Windows products might want to do a Linux product. The company
then
assigns the existing development team to do the Linux product. This is not
the same as hiring someone new to do the job.

Strange… where I live, one can’t get such job being totally new, or at
least, without having a clue.
