null fscontext

in my routines, i sometimes receive a fileobject with a null fscontext
value. under what circumstances will this happen?

My understanding is that the FsContext is NULL if the fileobj hasn’t
passed throught the complete create path yet

Probably for the DASD file object, or maybe for directories, even.

The RAW file system doesn’t use the FsContext field, and doesn’t
initialize it ever.
