NTFS disk crash

Hi,

My NT system can not access the NTFS disk drive. But this disk drive has
my source code and data. How do I rescue my code and data? Does any tool do
this job like Norton utility to rescue Dos FAT data?

Thanks

James

Use another NT system and connect ur original HardDisk as slave. Then u can
retrive data normally

Check in this link http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml for
tools (ERD Commander, NT Recover). Good luck.

I have try another NT system, the case is the same. The message Box show "
The file or directory$Volume is corrupt and unreadable, please run the
chkdsk utility" I have run chkdsk, but it seems no use. I use NT disk
administrator to view the disk, It shows “unknown” on my NTFS disk.

Use chkdsk on a Win2k system. I solved a similar problem some months ago,
using win2k.
