Given a device that sends data of any given length with “sideband”
information, it is possible to have a transfer, such as an acknowledgement,
that is contained totally in the sideband information, and as a consequence
does not have a data buffer or data length. Does
DmaOperations->GetScatterGatherList(…) handle NULL buffer pointers with 0
length?
