ALL NTDEV Subscribers - Please Read:
The network changes at OSR are complete, so there should be no further
problems accessing NTDEV, the OSR web site, or anything else in the osr.com
domain.
IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING TROUBLE accessing the list server or OSR web server:
PLEASE CHECK and update YOUR DNS RECORDS. Over 3 weeks ago, we updated the
DNS records for the osr.com domain. Apparently, there are some DNS servers
that are still caching our old data.
Old Addresses were in the 38.220.243.x space. These are all INVALID.
New Addresses are in the 208.13.232.x space:
www.osr.com: 208.13.232.200
lists.osr.com: 208.13.232.245
If you have a local “hosts” file, please edit it to reflect the new
addresses.
If you’re getting an incorrect resolution from a name server (whether it’s
corporate or ISP-supplied) PLEASE ask the admin to flush the cache of old
incorrect records. There is nothing - absolutely nothing - that we can do
on our end to make this happen. You must raise the issue with your network
or dns administrator.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this change has caused,
and we look forward to what we hope will be months (if not years) of
uninterrupted upgraded network access.
