NT: Packet driver Please Help!!!

Hi,

I did not get any reply for the last query!!

It is very much important for me.
I am very new to the driver stuff and hence need help at each stage .
Please do help me…

This is with regard to the new version of the Packet driver sample
available from Microsoft.
I have installed it.
Reception of packets is fine.
But I am not able to send the packets.

I have connectecd 2 PCs directly using Cross cable.
I then tried to send data using the “send” item from the menu under
“Adapter”
And tried to receive the data on the other PC using “read” item with
“drected” mode of Filter.If it had received any thing it would have
displayed .But it does not!
In this situation I pinged the second PC and then it displayed the Ping
packet.

Please do help me with sending packet using this driver.

It depends on your operating system... BUT you can use Microsoft DDK sample source....

if you need just IP packet watching, you can use protocol layer monitoring source...
for other porpose... you must find more...

and...
