Hi!
I’m a developer with RSA Security. Our group develops the file
encryption in RSA Keon Desktop. This product, among other things,
provides transparent (on the fly) file encryption for files in designated
encrypted folders (and their sub folders). This works for both Win9x and NT,
and for both FAT and NTFS.
If an unauthorized user tries to accesses an encrypted file, he will not
be able to decrypt the contents of the file. Before any access is granted you
will have to log on to the PC (or, if you prefer that, authenticate
yourself to Keon Desktop whenever you wish to use encryption
-“on demand logon” we call that).
You can also encrypt files manually, and with build in decryption
capabilities (similar to executable zip archives in concept), where you
have to supply a password to be able to decrypt the file. This is useful
for the situation were you wish to transport a file by some means, for
example email it.
We don’t supply any “auto destroy” mechanism (that would be impossible
to do in a tamper proof way anyway), but an encrypted file would be
useless to unauthorized users anyway. (That is what encryption is all
about.)
See
http://www.rsasecurity.com/products/keon/datasheets/dskeondesktop.html
for more info. You should also, hopefully, be able to find a contact
reasonably near you who can help you with more information.
Good luck with your search!
Best regards
/Patrik

I want a driver for NT server and Win95 to encode and decode autocad
files
without permission of the user. So when the user open or close an
autocad file,
doesn´t know about this internal process from Autocad application.
If an unauthorized user send the file by mail, diskette, hard disk, CD,
etc. this
file travel encode and in the other side (destination), if the
unauthorized user
want to open but don´t have the decoder driver, the autocad file will
be
destroyed by any mechanism.
If you are interested, please write me your proposal.
