Hi,

To access any non-MicroSoft network resources,
such as Netware Server or Unix NFS Server, it is possible to use
Client or Gateway Services ( see
Client Service/Gateway Service for Novell Netware,
Client NFS/Gateway NFS in Service for Unix).

As I understand, the Client in this case is a redirector,
which must be developed and installed accoding IFS documentation.

But I cannot understand the development and installation features
of Gateway Services.

My questions:

  1. Is any differences in component list (redirector driver,
    DLL provider, …) of Client and Gateway? Is that list same for both?

  2. Why Cateway Service can be installed on Server platform only?

  3. Where can I find any documentation, articles or sample
    to development and installation of Gateway service?
