Hi friends,
I am a newbie to pcmcia…I am totally lost in understand how a device is
mapped to the pcmcia controller chip…
I would like to know the following things:
1)are Common memory space(As what is specified in the chip’s doc) and the
MEMORY WINDOW are they both the one and the same??
2)To which the mapping has to be done…whether the device has to be mapped
to the Window1,window 2 or the common memory space or
to the address specified in the TUPLE “CISTPL_CFTABLE_ENTRY’S–TPCE_MS”
entry…
if some one could clearly explain me the mapping done for a 16 bit pc i/o
card I would be very grateful to them.,
