Ndis Send packet constantly

Hi All:
When my NDIS-WDM(not Connection-Oriented)driver starts, ndis send UDP packet constantly. And another thing alike is, when my ATM-WDM(Connection-Oriented)starts, the same happens,but not UDP packet instead of the packet never seen.
I think it is the NDIS try to communicate with the WDM(am I right?). And how can I deal with it?
