Anyone know what setting the NCF_VIRTUAL flag in a miniport INF actually
does, with regard to the network class installer? (Yes, I’ve read the
description in the DDK. 
)
Setting the flag prevents winpcap from working right with the adapter,
and removing doesn’t seem to have any negative effects (in the brief
testing we’ve done this morning). Elyias Yakub had it in his virtual
NIC INF, and I wrote the one we’re using from scratch and had just put
the flag in because it looked obviously like it belonged there. Now I’m
not so sure.
