MS doc, "Cancel Logic in Windows Drivers", still relevant?

Hello,

I saw a post in this forum from 2015 recommending this page: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn613953(v=vs.85).aspx (last updated 2017) and that page has a link to a document "Cancel Logic in Windows Drivers" that was written in 2003.

The 2003 document, "Cancel Logic in Windows Drivers", is lengthy but I am willing to ingest all of it as long as it's still relevant and won't lead me astray. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks!

It is reasonable background material. Much of the implementation detail is not relevant if you are using WDF.

Thanks Mark. I’ve inherited a WDM driver and I want to make sure it’s handling cancellation properly.
