Monitor Printer?

hello,
i want to monitor the printer’s job,such as the paper
printed,copies,even the data,how can i do this?

Open the MSDN library. Search “printer AND monitor”.
Read results (Rank 1 … Rank 10).
Eventually come back with more specific questions.

If you want monitor the network printer, just use the snmp protocol.
For local printer, you should use pjl/pcl for this.

  2. I suggest that you read the complete printer section in both the Windows
    Platform SDK and Windows DDK, before going any further with your project.

  3. The PJL and PCL references can be ordered from HP
