Modification/Refreshing Registry in NT/2K

Hi All,

I am new to this list.

I am in need of information about how to refresh Windows Registry once I
change the values in it(programatically of course) .
Also, how to programatically set the permissions to access/modify registry
entries in WIN2k?

The problem I am facing is, I am changing some keys and trying to access
them programatically and I still get the older values only.

No needs of refreshing the registry. You must see the new values after you
have set the new values.
