In what scenarios will *GUID_IO_VOLUME_LOCK *be taken? I can think of Format
as one, what else can there be?
Is there any other way to acquire this lock, other than going through the
FS?

Chkdisk is another one, and there can be n number of other reasons
also…anybody can do it programmatically
