Latest filter manager

Is the latest filter manager 2/20/04 also included in the latest beta build
1159 of Window 2003 sp1? How about Windows XP sp2?

Ken

Will the latest Filter Manager on the Beta Site, run on XP sp1? Or do I need
to load XP sp2 first?

Ken

You will need SP2

Ken,

Filter Manager would work on XP SP1 without any problems. There is a kernel
fix in SP2 which its depends on but it is not required for running filter
manager for development purposes.

Just to make sure things are clear –

The filter manager is part of the OS in XP SP2. The Filter Manager IFS
Kit that you can download from beta place contains the binaries for the
filter manager and an INF which will allow you to install these binaries
on an XP SP1 machine for development purposes only.

Even if you have a beta version of XP SP2, you probably want to install
the version of the filter manager binaries which come in the kit since
they are likely to be more recent than your beta build for XP SP2.
