Know which device sent the request

Hello all,

I’m developing a disk filter driver and I need to know if the request came from the hard drive or removable mass storage device.

Disks do not send requests.

Do you mean “comes TO” this drive?

If yes - then please note that Windows has different notions for removable media (CD/DVD, IoMega, SD/MMC) and removable devices (external USB hard disk).
