I am new to iSCSI so my questions may be basic.
Could someone help me how iSCSI HBA miniport driver can register the
discovered targets and established sessions with StorPort driver(its
the case with boot time discovery initiated by driver itself,not the iSCSI
service).
iSCSI initiator service has in built iSNS client, if HBA also has iSNS client in it then the frame work is going to use HBa resident iSNS or MS iSCSI service one. what is the mechanism to trigger discovery and registration ?
I could not find any Design guide section for iSCSI HBA in WDK
help(except iSCSI WMI interface) is WMI is the only additional thing
for iSCSI HBAs? are there any URLs for understanding how iSCSI
initiator service is integrated with Storport and miniport.
