Is it the same disk.sys

Hello all,
There is a disk.sys and its source codes within Windows 2000 DDK. Is it the
same to the class driver Disk.sys in Windows 2000?

Thank you.
Michael.K

I am not sure whether it was the same driver when the DDK was released, but it surely is not the same now, since the driver was changed in the Service Packs, while the DDK remained the same.

Regards,
Gregory

In general yes. Service packs and other updates may of course modify this
driver, but those mods ought to be minor.

Yes, but probably it is from Windows 2000 “gold” without the patches from
Service Packs.
