intel pro/100 ve problems

Hi all,

Are there any known problems with

the following setup

intel motherboard integrate intel pro/100 ve

service pack 2 for win2k / tcpip

version 4.3.25.0 version of network drivers

256mb of ram

intel pentium 3 1Ghz cpu

The reason for this query is that we have set of programs which works
correctly on an identical pc with win 2k sp1 same network adapter but
relapse 4.3.18.0 of the network driver.
The code that fails is in part of our test app which decode the message
received packets which are sent via the tcpip protocol form another part of
our system. on the same box.

thanks

Robert Fernando

It might help if you described:

1.) The nature of the failure. Do you receive something, but not what you
expect? Do you expect something but get nothing?
2.) What mechanisms (Winsock, TDI, NDIS) are used by both applications on
the same box?

I have tied down the problem
It appears that the message id on the top of our internal message receive
queue is wrong
and contains data which relates to a previous message that comes in from the
other exe in the app and not the one we are expecting.
Hence I think I need to look at our queuing code for received MSG’s.
