int13 drive info under NT4

Dear All,

is it possible to get int13 drive info under WinNT4? WinXP can return int13
info about the drive, but what about the earlier versions?

I have investigated this problem for w2k and NT4, the result was - no.
On complex IDE+SCSI setups, the numbers are completely other for int13h and for NT.
Also remember that, for BIOSless SCSI cards, you will have no int13h number at all.

We contacted MS people on this, MS told us - “use unique signature in the MBR instead of drive numbers”.
