Please excuse what may be a lame question:
I have developed a driver for a PCI card that essentially just does simple
port IO (with interrupts), so I’ve modeled my driver after the Windows 2000
DDK’s port IO sample code. I can load and run my driver under Windows 2000,
but I can’t seem to load it under XP.
When I run the “Add Hardware” wizard under XP (build 2526), and point it to
the same .INF file I use for Windows 2000, the wizard complains that “The
specified location does not contain information about your hardware”.
Can anyone point me to documentation on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance
