importing a function in kernel32.dll exported by ordinal

Hi, this is a little off-topic. How can import a function in kernel32.dll when this function is exported as an ordinal? I try using a def file but I got this warning:
“\SAVMEM9X.DEF : warning LNK4017: IMPORTS statement not supported for the target platform; ignored”.
It seems to be that the Microsoft Visual C++ linker doesn’t recognize this option.

What function namely?
