I am attempting to run IFSTEST on my FSD, and it keeps crashing. The
exception code is c0000005 (access violation), which occurs at the very
begining of the ReadWriteRangeTest catagory. The crash occurs when the test
attempts to create the file “\readwr\rw000000_tmp.exe” with
options=0x05000060. The call fails because the disk is full, with an error
code of 0xc000007f.

This is a bug in the IFSTEST code – it doesn’t properly handle the
error returned when opening this file.
I’ve filed a bug to get this fixed in the IFSTESTs. In the mean time,
I’d suggest making your volume larger, at least 2 GB, so that you won’t
hit this error during the test.
