How to get USB Device descriptor in user mode

Dear All,

I want to get USB device descriptor in user mode,for example there is a usb mass storage device in system,I want to get it’s device destriptor in user mode.
anybody can tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance!

I think get USB device descriptor is not a very hard misson, because it is a base command
included by generic USB driver. The sample in DDK about USB should have the IOCTL? try to
find:)

Usbview.exe in the ddk should also show you how to get some basic descriptors from devices in UM.
