How to get and use a fileid to open a file from user mode

Hi,
Could somebody clarify, how to get a fileid and use that to open a
file from the user mode, so that I get FILE_OPEN_BY_FILE_ID flag set in the
kernel level.

Try using the ID string prefixed by $ - maybe this will help?
