Dear all:
I am now developing a PCI-to-COM card’s driver and I want to change the
port name in the device manager. Just like the default COM1 or COM2
act. You just select the COM port you want to change to, then both the item
in the device tree and the “FriendlyName” value in the registry is changed.
How could it be done?
I have tried the DefineDosDevice() function and also the registry entry
under ‘enum’ key, but they all seem not work.
