I’m lazy, and don’t like to type. I also like the fact that auto-complete
enables me to get the right element of a large struct without having to look
it up. However, auto-complete doesn’t pick up the functions in the Win2K
DDK, at least not all of them. As an example, say I want to
ZwQueryValueKey(), for KeyValueBasicInformation. I not only don’t get
auto-complete, I don’t get the parameter list help, and I don’t get
automatic members from the KEY_VALUE_FULL_INFORMATION struct, either.
Anyone have any suggestions known to work? I build in the IDE using
ddkbuild, and I get browsing and can jump to definitions and references for
all of the functions and structs that I want auto-complete to work on, so I
know that the browser file isn’t the enabler. I have added the path to the
DDK inc and inc\ddk directories to Tools -> Options -> Directories, but that
doesn’t appear to be it, either.
I think I managed to get some of them in, once, but not all of them, and I
am at a loss for how I did it. If it’s not possible, please don’t jump on
me for that last statement. I am not asserting categorically that I did. I
have a vague recollection of having done so once, and I am not sure if that
recollection is trustworthy.
Thanks,
Phil
