Hi all,
Can anyone know how not to test print at Pnp when the printer driver
is installed ? Is there the setting to do that in INF file ?
Thanks,
inaba

Hi Vladimir,
I know if I add NoTestPage=1 in DataSection of INF file, it will disappear
the dialog whether if it does test print or not. But this is available on
only Windows 9x. I am looking for the way on Windows NT and Windows 2000.
Thanks,

Hello Inaba!
Most probably “test page” presence is hardcoded in W2K…
I tried to use “VendorSetup=” line to suppress that suggestion -
no success…
But you may be interested in following utility to make printer
installation without any interaction with a user…
**********************
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry [options] [@commandfile]
/ia install printer driver using inf file
/id install printer driver using add printer driver wizard
/if install printer using inf file
/ii install printer using add printer wizard with an inf file
/il install printer using add printer wizard
/k print test page to specified printer, cannot be combined with command
when installing a printer
************************
All the parameters you can get with:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /?
Best regards,
Vladimir.
