How can I perform like the device manager?

Hi all,

In device manager, when you right click a node, you can choose the “scan for
hardware changes” option to find the legacy devices. Can anyone tell me how
can I do exactly the same in my own program? Thank you all.

Check out the devcon sample in the DDK. That should answer you questions.

No, this scan is not for legacy devices, this is for PnP devices only. Legacy
devices scan is performed only on Windows install, and later you can only
install their drivers manually by picking them from the list.
