Major of the modern network interfaces allow changing it’s hardware MAC
address (reading
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\SystemControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E972-E325-11CE
-BFC1-08002bE10318}\xxxx registry key by NdisReadNetworkAddress). However,
this is not true for all network interfaces. One of the possible ways to
intercept OID_802_3_CURRENT_ADDRESS and subsitute MAC indicated to protocol.
