Hi,
I'm running the WindowsFilteringPlatform_Test in HLK Studio (version 1607) in order to sign our drivers and noticed that the test is marked as manual, requiring manual interaction with the Client machine.
However, according to the Microsoft documentation, this test should be automatic and does not require special configuration.
Issue Details:
- When I select my driver in HLK Studio, the test appears as manual instead of automatic.
- On the Client machine, a pop-up message appears requesting to enable traffic (the ports in the message change dynamically).
- I believe that in the past, this test was running automatically, but I haven't upgraded the HLK version or made any intentional changes.
What I Tried:
- Disabled the Firewall to rule out network restrictions.
- Checked for required configurations but couldn’t find anything specific.
- Created firewall rules to allow the test’s traffic.Question:
Could this be a misconfiguration on the client machine that is making the test manual instead of automatic? What else can I check to restore the automatic behavior of this test?
