Hi All,
I got struct in developing a security layer on how to protect a text file from copying to
another directory or copying the selected text to a clip board…
Can it be done thru a filter driver or hook…???
Could you please suggest me some idea on this please…

You could do both ways. Hook is the quick and dirty way !. And it is more
dirty than quick.

In the past I’ve done both of your requirement, but only by hooking, so I
could not share the codes, it would be against this community.
