What are you going to do with the info if you have it? The WDF coinstallers use a variety of ways to determine the installed version.

Nothing special, i wonder how this can be accomplished and as you said by the CoInstallers.
It is not documented and we would rather you didn’t do that because it creates an app compatibility problem when we modify the algorithms.

The WdfVerifier tool in the WDK will give you very precise version information for the runtimes / “services” and also for each installed WDF driver. More precise than the coinstallers’ methods will since it doesn’t need that level of precision to do its job.
