Hi,
I need to know whether a volume is writable or not and cache that
information for subsequent requests. I use FltIsVolumeWritable() in
InstanceSetup callback or IRP_MJ_VOLUME_MOUNT, but this is not good enough
to detect whether the same floppy disk is removed and inserted, but with
write protection enabled/disabled, because there will be no mount. In the
legacy model I have no problem as I see IRP_MN_VERIFY_VOLUME requets. Any
workaround to solve this?
