File's $DATA stream

Hi everyone!

What could be other ways to open main file’s stream in addition to

  1. Open “by pathname”
  2. Open by “pathname:$DATA” (case insensitive?)
  3. ???

TIA,

Vladimir

File or object id as well.

Pete

Forgot this one  But this raises another question: can a stream
(other than $DATA) be opened via ID?

No, you can only open the primary data stream by ID.
