Hello everybody,
I am new to the driver development area, and I just want some advices from experienced driver developers, to find the way that I will follow.
Basically, my needs are to develop a File System Driver, that will mount a FTP or a FTPS server, as a local drive. As far as I understand till now, I need to develop a kernel mode driver and a User mode driver in order to be able to access the FTP’s from my driver.
I just want to know your thoughts and advices about that.
Thank you.
There are several products already out there that do just this. I am not
discouraging you from doing this, but it will be a difficult and lengthy
task. Maybe an existing solution will work for you.
